March 2004, 2 Hour Hare and Hounds, Chiltern Hills, UK Here are the pics from the Team IT outing to The Chiltern Hills H&H. It started off with all the worries of noise but I got waved straight throught the Parc Ferme and waited my turn to go. The old girl burst into life after a couple of kicks and we were away. The first lap was pretty easy going then we started to wind it up a bit. I took all the expert routes through the trees and bomb holes which she handled fairly well. On the second lap my front wheel washed out and I was face down in the dirt. Managed to keep the engine running and got to my knees when a very nice man on a YZ slammed into my back knocking me over again. When I had finished swearing at him I remounted and set off again. Two further laps and a wheel change and it was time for lunch (all very civilised you know!) I have say the bike was fine apart from a few handling difficulties which will be sorted out by the next time I race. Its my personal fitness that needs some serious attention!
